The Hexagon table top is made of handcrafted glazed lava stone with a subtle craquelure effect that highlights the natural imperfections in the stone. The coloured glaze, applied by hand, ensures that the top is water, heat, frost, UV, and stain-resistant.
Top surface: Glazed lava stone – linen.
Structure: Teak. - Description
-
The side tables’ teak support refers to the hexagonal basalt pillars of the Giant’s Causeway, a rock formation in Northern Ireland that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Moreover, Merckx swears by sophisticated proportions, which is why the perfect symmetry of the honeycomb was his second source of inspiration.
